Grandma Comes to Visit!!!
Grandma Corey decided to take a few days to fly down and surprise the girls. The reunion was priceless and of course brought tears to my eyes. This has been the longest they've been away from Gma Corey, a long 7 months.
As soon as we got home, of course Grandma couldn't wait to bring out all the goodies she brought for them and these adorable Easter dresses.
We knew it was going to be a short and sweet trip, so we had to make the most of it. Morgyn still had school and Grandma was happy to walk ( or for that matter, skip with her ) to and from school those 2 days.
Above is a necklace that Tracey and I had made for our mother for Mother's Day this year. I know it was abit early, but I was very anxious to give it to her. Below is her reaction to opening the necklace,...I think she likes it a little, what do you think?
Taking a walk in the park with the kids, Grandma snuck off with Kheringtyn's bike and decided to take a ride herself. Silly Grandma, training wheeled bikes are for kids!
Girls taking good care of Grandma, combing and braiding her long beautiful hair.
Picking up Morgyn from school! Yah it's the weekend!
Thank you Grandma Corey for coming to visit us in Miami....it was a short trip but a very special one. We hope you had a relaxing and fun time and can't wait to see you again in May.
Saturday Boat Ride to Monty's
Since Grandma was only down for a short 3.5 days, we took advantage of getting her out on the boat on Saturday. Weather was warm but breezy, making it a very comfortable day for boating.
We toured around the Biscayne Bay area, listening and seeing all the craziness of the Urban Music Festival and then checking out all the cruise ships that would be leaving port in a few hours.
We stopped at Monty's to grab some lunch, and the girls took advantage of the pool while we were there too!
On the boat ride home the girls both fell asleep and Grandma didn't mind one bit, savoring all the snuggles she could get, dog included!

Poolside at the Movies
Our complex we live at puts on a Family movie night a few times a year, and this was the first time we've ever been to one! I must say it was so much FUN and I wish they did it every month! The girls helped make some homemade pizza first before the movie, and they were having fun watching the cheese bubble !
I had to find out what size inflatable screen this was (with my father in mind of course) and they told me it was 20' !!! My dad's been talking about getting an inflatable screen for camping trips with the grandkids. So dad, this post is for you!!!!
We got down to the pool early enough to get some lawn chairs and pick out our spots! All the while we were waiting for it to get dark, music played loudly by the pool DJ and the girls had some fun dancing.
We all got bottomless popcorn, one box of candy and a soda too! Girls were really loving how this night was turning out!
What could make it that much better??? Face painting of course!!! Morgyn looked like she was about to fall asleep here. She told me she liked the way it tickled and felt on her face.
Here's our spot! It was a cool night, good thing we brought the blankets because the girls ended up needing them.
All done! Good choice Morgyn!
Here is Morgyn with one of her friends she often rides bikes to school with in the morning.
Love this look of suprise on Kheringtyn's face!
The movie they showed was Lorax. The whole night couldn't have gone more perfect (well except the fact we missed daddy because he was out doing a sea trial on his boat we were selling), but we REALLY hope they do this again SOON so we can all enjoy this fun event as a family of four.
Smile!

Miami Seaquarium

As long as we have lived in Miami we have never taken the girls to the local Sea Aquarium, and it was something I've been wanting to do for a long time! FINALLY, we broke free and got our chance to check it out!!!
