It was quite the day today at the Kangaroo Farm. My neighbor, Sarah, had told me about this place in Arlington and it was way better than the zoo!!! It was very educational and there was LOTS of petting for the kids.

We got to see about 40 kangaroos, peacocks, ostrich, emus, lemar monkeys (same as the ones in the movie Madagascar), duck, turkey, geese, phesants, pigs, llamas, donkeys, a shetland pony and some others mommy can't remember. The llamas would take the pellet food right out of our mouths. Morgyn put the food in her mouth 3-4 times waiting for the llama to take it from her mouth, but he was abit shy with her and refused.

Morgyn bottle feeding baby Joey. It was amazing to see how tame and gentle these kangaroos are with the kids. Morgyn must have given everyone of them a kiss and hug, and as you'll see in the video below...the last kangaroo had enough of her hugs and gave her a nice suprise (a headlock hug that she didnt like so much!) Scared the poop out of mom!!! After that incident, she was done with hugging the "roos" as she would call them.
