Pepper was a member of our Anderson family for 13 years. She warmed the hearts with those who loved her. We're going to miss her stinky farts, house rumbling snoring, bedtime body warming, endless lotion/leg licking, sneeky garbage can exploring, big fight little dog syndrome, leash pulling, neighbor lawn pooping, treat begging, sweater wearing ways.
Pepper,
Your mommy is lost without you. Despite your mommy seeing signs in you that you were getting old, she wanted you to live forever. She was never going to be ready to see you go to doggy Heaven. That time came all to suddenly, a day she wasn't prepared for. It was supposed to be just another dr. check up and you were coming home. I know you knew how much she loved you and you always responded back with licks. She'd do anything for you. You both were each other's closest companion. Thank you for the many, many years of joy and happiness you brought "our" mom. I'm going to let you in on a little secret,...mom has instructed me to make sure you are buried with her when she goes. I promised to do so, so you will be back together again one day :) I hope that has your 'lil tail wiggling in heaven now. We're going to miss you here on earth Pepper...you will NEVER be forgotten.
