Well is was a fun, fun and RELAXING Christmas with daddy in Miami this year! Girls and I flew down to spend 2 weeks with him over Morgyn's Christmas break from school. We rented a campsite up in Pembroke Pines and it has worked out perfect for all of us.!!
On Friday the 23rd, we all went over to 'Uncle Hurchell's house and met up with Margriet too. We had a nice dinner and they all brought gifts for our girls! Thank you everyone for being so generous and thinking of our girls during the holidays! Morgyn can't wait to get home to try out her Tangled and Toy Story Wii games!!!
What else is a girl to do when visiting Hurchell than put on a 'slithery necklace?' Kheringtyn got the nerve to try it after watching her sister put it around her neck. All mommy was concerned about was that Mr Snake wasn't hungry!
On Christmas Eve, we had brunch over at our friend's, Paul and Erica's, parent's house. Janice is a 5th grade teacher and she pulled out all the stops withe the 5 kids. She red them 2 Christmas stories and sang a few songs. Then she had a guessing game for them where she had 2 different suprises in a stocking, they had to guess what was in it by asking questions. Both of which had to do with the song and story they just read....Frosty the Snowman and Jingle Bells.
Got the girls all snuggled in their beds below..they were pretty anxious for Christmas morning. However, the story goes, Santa will be leaving presents at our WA home and they would have a few things to open up here. And they seemed fine with that! Something to look forward to when they get home and LESS to travel with!!! Thank you so much Cousin Nancy and Uncle TJ for sending some gifts for them to open on Christmas morning. That was very special.
Daddy was very excited about getting a new pair of NOAT sandals he's been asking and asking for. I finally found a pair online and he was thrilled!
Christmas day evening we went over to our friends' other set of parent's house for their traditional turkey dinner! It was so nice to have good company and a wonderfully cooked meal on the holidays! A BIG thank you to the Ennis' and the Holzman's for welcoming our family into your home for the holidays.
Thank you Uncle TJ for sending the girls 2 VERY cute dolls!! They are both a hit and they love them. Hoping everyone back home had a wonderful Christmas holiday,...Kevin and I are looking forward to heading back to WA and spending the next 4 weeks together as a family. We shall see if Santa showed up and left any gifts next to the tree......
