Saturday morning we woke up and got ourselves some breakfast before we headed out to explore the streets of Nassau! The waters were crystal blue and turquoise, I wanted to jump right in off the ship, okay not really!
We wanted to get our shopping out of the way first as we were told the shops close at 5pm! So we spent acouple hours picking up a few souveniers and we were back to the boat for a quick lunch!
Morgyn and Kheringtyn saw these cute grass purses and wanted one so we obliged. This wonderful lady even stitched their names on the back of them and YES, she did fit all of Kheringtyn's name, in case you were wondering! LOL
Lots of beautiful decor
One of the few beautiful costumes we saw that they wear for their parades! I could not imagine wearing all this weight over my shoulders! The amount of detail and workmanship they put into these are AMAZING!
One of the many buildings I saw and fell in love with. How I would have loved to do a mini photoshoot with my girls and this be the backdrop!
I've only been on one other cruise that was 16 years ago and it happens that it was the Carnival Imagination too. I can tell you that not much has changed and it now is a much smaller ship than all the other ones sitting in port next to us!! I'm hoping the next cruise we take will be on one of the newer and bigger ships!
