THe girls had a load of fun coloring easter eggs this year! Kheringtyn's favorite color is yellow these days and she said "yellow" perfectly clear many time while coloring her eggs. She also did a great job coloring her entire hand up to her wrists yellow.
This year both girls got to do 2 easter egg hunts. The first one was put on by our HOA in our park, and the other one was at my sister's in-laws on Easter day.
Kheringtyn did very well and knew exactly what she needed to do....pick up an egg, shake it hard in hopes of opening it up to get the candy out, sneak a piece in her mouth from time to time, and put the egg back in the bucket!

On Saturday after our park egg hunt, I took the girls down to the Stanwood Children's Parade. After that Morgyn got to go down some big bouncy slides and bouncy houses,...then we ate some yummy hot dogs and the girls each got their own cotton candy's. Below is a picture of the girls on a minature pony named "Fire" that was in the parade. It was very hard to get Kheringtyn off the pony once she got on. She kicked, screamed and cried saying "horsey" for the next 10 min. after she got off. This girl absolutely LOVES horses!

Easter morning the girls got an easter basket from the easter bunny,...filled with candy, puzzles, silly string, a God's book of children's prayers, tattoos, stickers and then that afternoon they got a BIG easter basket from Grandma Corey filled with ALOT more goodies! These kids are spoiled or anything? Nah....just LOVED!

We had Easter lunch over at Debbie and Larry's and they also did a little egg hunt for the kids! This was probably the funniest egg hunt to date watching Morgyn. She insisted to wear her wedge heeled sandals with her easter dress. And while running outside for the eggs, her one sandal came off, she stopped and yelled to us that her sandal came off, yet not wanting to go back and get it cuz she'd miss out on some eggs. So she ran and ran with only one sandal on,...and I went to pick it up to give it to her. SHe still didnt want to stop and put it back on, she threw it in her basket to finish. After we thought all the eggs were found, someone pointed out one more they found, and Jaymin and Morgyn BOTH came bolting across the lawn for that last egg. When they both got to the bush, there was some shoulder nudging going so they could get the egg. WHen Jaymin got it, Morgyn got upset and said she "didn't win" the egg hunt, cuz Jaymin said "I got the Golden Egg!" (There was NO golden egg...but that's how these 2 play...always trying to out do the other!) Despite how these 2 are sometimes, I really feel like they will grow up to be buddies. For now, they have there moments from time to time.
