are growing right before our eyes. Since Kheringtyn has turned 2, she has been showing more and more interest in potty training. She tells me, "mommy, poo poo icky" when she has a dirty diaper and even sometimes when she wants to try go in the potty. Shes gone twice in the little potty chair so far. She also tells me "mommy, panties please" as she wants to start wearing panties around the house. (Above is a picture of Kheringtyn wearing the dress that my sister and I wore when we were little!)
While at Costco, the girls spotted these princess dresses and insisted they get one. Morgyn really wanted the blue Cinderella dress and I picked out the Rapunzel dress for Kheringtyn (still abit big). I told Morgyn it would be her Halloween costume this year and do you really think she would hold of on wearing it another 2 months? Heck no. They were on not 10 min. after getting home!
I can hardly believe that Morgyn is 5 years old and will be starting her first day of Kindergarten tomorrow. We went to her class yesterday to drop off supplies and it was also a chance for her to meet her teacher, Mrs. Follette. Morgyn literally ran across the other side of the class room with open arms to give her teacher a big hug and said, "I'm in your class Mrs. Follette. I'm so excited!" I bet you can guess what happened next...I broke down and the tears started rolling. Tears of pure happiness and joy, as I know she is going to LOVE going to school and this makes me soooo excited for her. The teacher could already tell she was not going to have a hard time adjusting and was happy to see her enthusiasm! I hope she makes her mommy and daddy proud!
I bet you can guess what the next post on our blog will be all about....yep, you guessed it. Pictures of Morgyn's 1st day of school, so stay tuned!
