Halloween in Miami

This year for Halloween daddy ended up making a last minute road trip to NJ to sell some generators for those affected by Hurricane Sandy. The girls and I stayed home and continued the Halloween festivities.

Kheringtyn wasn't much help cleaning out the 'guts' of the pumpkin as it was "icky"....Morgyn on the other hand did a good job helping mommy out!

On Halloween day, Morgyn's school was having a Halloween parade and all the kids got the chance to wear their costumes instead of uniforms. She was SUPER excited to get to wear her witch costume, the wig being her favorite part of the costume. Of course Kheringtyn couldn't wait either to put on her witch costume at 730 am!

Made it to school....this cute little witch rode her skooter instead of her broomstick!

Later that afternoon, Kheringtyn had her weekly ballet class and they got to wear their costumes as well. Here she is with her teachers and ballet class posing for a picture :)

Morgyn's monster pumpkin!

Later that evening, the girls and I went over to a dear friend, Michelle's, house (Our complex manager who happens to live right behind us in our building) to have pizza and go trick or treating! Her son, Stephen is 8, and 2 of the other women from the office and their children all came over and we all trick or treated together. It was so nice not having to drive anywhere and just stay right here in our housing complex.  Besides, we couldn't have done it with anybody better because she knows all the tenants and which houses to go to! :)

There's just something so AWESOME about trick or treating at night in 75* weather! No jackets, no boots, just our costumes, buckets and fun fun fun!

Back to Michelle's after trick or treating for a quick bite of dessert!

Best part of the night we were all home and nestled in our beds by 915pm!
